Brief
To create a social networking mobile application that focuses on the Live Streaming feature for its users. Main features include Going live, Content Creation, Earning Rewards, Easy Messaging and a Subscription Model.
Design & Navigation
Rill App was designed keeping in mind its direct competitors like TikTok. The idea was to design a UI which stood out when the users went on the App Store for a download.
The design language is fun, quirky and playful with vibrant colours and non-serif font families. To maintain a 'trendsetter' attitude via the app's design, popular graphic design trends such as gradients and frosted glass effects were used.
The UX was designed keeping in mind its accessibility and easy navigation. It's 2021 and the consumption of content on social media is higher than ever. The navigation was kept smooth and without complexities to cater to its teenage target audience and Millenials alike.
